PLOT:
The movie begins with the family moving into an amazing house on great property only to realise that the house is built on (indian burial ground?) The family's youngest Maddy starts communicating with spirits and getting signals and later on so does the rest of the family. On a stormy night when the parents are on a dinner with friends the oldest child Kendra babysits her brother and sister when the storm strikes Kendra gets locked in a basement or whatever and griffin gets attacked by the tree and meanwhile Maddy gets trapped in the closet as in the original classic and the family seems lost so they seek help from the professionals. They get into work and decide to go "inside their house" to go and get her then the rest is Almost just a bunch of crap so i don't even bother to say much more.. I mean this movie doesn't even have the pool scene where the mother and carol-anne sunk in.
But still I would give this a 7,5/10 points and ☆☆☆ stars
-Overacting a happy family
-Remake changes too much and too little at the same time
-Ridicilious cast and some exact lines
-Terrible acting
-The son&dad
-The family claims to be broke but bought two houses in the movie
-Unnecessary remake which sorta mixes horror and sci-fi nerd stuff
+Some cool scenes like when the tree attacks
+Clown
+Maddy
+Cool CGI when the souls got free
